West Midlands Labour alongside the Lionel Cooke Memorial Foundation will be holding a training event 'Being a Labour Candidate'.  This afternoon session is ideal for those of you who have been selected as candidates for the local elections or those who as Labour activists are keen to become candidates or support candidates more closely.  The afternoon will cover:

·         Q & A session with previous candidates and Councillors   

·         Briefings on the importance of campaigning and administration involved

·         How to organise community campaigns

·         The importance of community work in being a candidate
